Having grown up with an outdoor-minded family, I got involved at young age in fishing, hunting, and various outdoor activities. Growing up we lived in Baja, California for many years and spent time running offshore boats for palegic species such as Tuna, Yellowtail, Billfish, and inshore species like Rooster Fish and Jacks while refining my boat skills.

Eventually I started to go long-range fishing out of San Diego, and after a few years I became a charter master for private trips – which I loved! With that under my belt, I began adding outfitting to my resume running long-range trips from San Diego – and I was one of the first captains to take a long-range boat from San Diego to Costa Rica to explore the Costa Rica waters with 12 anglers.

It was these experiences that led me to the world of Eastern Sierra fly fishing to chase trophy trout in California’s high country, and it’s the reason I chose to move to Crowley Lake. I love teaching people how to fly fish and sharing my knowledge of the Eastern Sierras with others. Come see what it’s all about!
